Piano tuning is the process of adjusting the tuning pins which, in turn, increase or decrease the tension of the approximately 230 strings which are in a piano. The cost varies depending on the condition and location of the piano, but generally is between $120-$180 if the piano is fairly well maintained.
If it hasn’t been tuned in many years and requires a pitch raise/double tuning, the cost is $165-$225. Minor adjustments and repairs complimentary at time of tuning. Schedule a Piano Tuning Here
